Welcome to The Community of Saint Léon
The village of Saint Léon was established in 1877 and is recognized as the oldest established parish in the region. It is situated in the Pembina Mountain Region approximately 1.6 km (one mile) south of Provincial Trunk Highway No.23 on Road 50w, 150 km southwest of Winnipeg.
The region is heavily agricultural, known for its oilseeds and grains. It also hosts Manitoba’s first wind farm project where 73 wind turbines complement the landscape of this strong francophone community.
Saint Léon boasts the Pembina Co-op as one of the largest co-operatives in Manitoba.
