Figure Skating
The Notre-Dame Skating club has been in operation since our arena was built in 1977. Notre-Dame Skating club offers a variety of programs to its members such as :
- A learn to skate program which is skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of any age that teaches the fundamental movements and basic skills.
- CanPowerSkate program focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance skills, all of which are especially important for hockey and Ringette players.
- STARSkate offers opportunities to develop figure skating skills in four different areas.
- CompetitiveSkate incorporates a series of tests and other training opportunities to help competitors with potential to advance.
- Synchronized skating

The Skate Canada officials programs are given by a certified professional Coach and several program assistants.
Our season runs from the end of October until approximately mid March.
Our volunteer committee also organizes an annual Ice Show in February/March.
